Chanakya
Chanakya Chanakya was a minister, teacher, strategist and an economist of ancient India. He is widely credited for the establishment of the Maurya empire, which started the golden era of Indian history. He was a great teacher and mentor to Chandragupta Maurya, India's first emperor. Chanakya was a man of great courage and intelligence, and his teachings and strategies laid the foundation of a powerful India. Chanakya is also known as Kautilya or Vishnugupta. He penned the Arthashastra, an ancient Indian treatise on statecraft, economic policy and military strategies.
